Valley is in the certification process with several series of vests that are designed to perform well above requirements of the new NIJ .06 Standard. You may have been told that the new .06 vests will be heavier, stiffer and much more expensive. Others might, but Valley has engineered vests that are not much different in wearability from our previous compliant models while performing “above the standard”.
