THIS TECHNOLOGY EATS BULLETS

At Valley Operational Wear, just good enough armor is SIMPLY NOT GOOD ENOUGH!  Designing armor to just meet the NIJ Standard is NOT GOOD ENOUGH!  Law Enforcement and Military protection demands are high, so Op Wear developed a unique new generation of ballistic vests to meet your rigorous performance requirements.  Many of you judged our designs as successful. In fact, several of you stated "this technology eats bullets".

So, we named the heart of our ballistic systems Enhanced Armor Technology (EAT).  EAT is a patented 3D process that infuses multiple layers of ballistic fabrics together.  This infusion, ounce for ounce, improves ballistic performance, decreases back-face signature, and improves multi-hit capabilities.  It also enables our vests to stop "Special Street Ballistic Threats" without sacrificing comfort, weight, or flexibility.  Op Wear's 0101.05 NIJ Certified vests perform above the standard, by defeating many "Special Street Threats" and in some models providing bomb fragmentation protection in concealed and tactical models.  These designs are segmented into three ballistic series: Professional, Warrior, and Legends.   Each series has been engineered to meet one or more of your specific ballistic design requirements.

  • Professional Series: Combining "EAT" with traditional woven aramid fabrics allowed us to produce a high performing, lighter weight, flexible vest for budget conscious agencies
  • Warrior Series: is just what the name implies.  it is our first NIJ Certified Level II and IIIA vest engineered with EAT and other high-performance aramid fabrics that not only defeat most typical "Special Street Threats" but protects against fragmentation threats faced by our troops in combat.
  • Legend Series: Our most forward thinking design.  It combines "EAT" with other advanced ballistic fiber technologies resulting in our lightest, most flexible design, which defeats multiple ballistic "Special Street Threats" as well as having high anti-fragmentation capabilities.
